Join Our Food Drive
Our goal is to ensure every food insecure child, adult and senior in Alameda County knows where their next meal is coming from, by 2018.

Join us on a mission to help the Alameda County Community Food Bank reach its goal...we mean, our goal!
You may swing by and drop off your canned foods during our business hours. We are located close to the post office and just behind Three Sheets Craft Beer Bar. Our hours are 9-5 Monday-Fri and Sat from 10-3.
There are more ways than one two support! You may host a red barrel (like us), participate in a virtual food drive, or organize your own event.
Host a Red Barrel
You can host a red barrel at your business, school or organization. It's a great way to build awareness and get donations. It's good for business and the community. We've been doing it since 2008 - and our barrel has brought in over 10,000 pounds of food! You may learn more about hosting your own barrel at our food bank's website (www.accfb.org).
Virtual Food Drives
The Alameda County Communinty Food Bank also has this cool virtual food drive. You pretty much do online "grocery shopping" for charity...it really puts things in perspective. Plus it makes a huge impact! They can stretch every $1 donated into $6 worth of food. You may shop as an individual or organize a group of friends to participate. Learn more about the virtual food drive here (www.vfd-accfb.org).
Host An Event Event
You May also host your own event or fundraiser. The Alameda County Community Food Bank has all sorts of resources and ideas listed on their website.
Throughout the year, community members host events to benefit the Food Bank, from golf tournaments to costume parties. Their passion and commitment help make it possible for us to serve our neighbors in need.
